The most recent WhatsApp update will allow users to hide their last seen.

The most recent WhatsApp update will allow users to hide their last seen, status, and profile picture from specific contacts, according to Checkout Details.

WhatsApp is granting select testers access to more granular privacy options in the latest beta version of the iOS app, allowing for more comprehensive management of the service's privacy settings. Last year, the functionality was first seen in development. It's designed to give users more control over who sees their last seen, about, and profile photo on Whatsapp.

According to reports, these capabilities are now available to select beta testers on the iOS and Android beta versions. WhatsApp has not specified when these privacy options will be available to all users. WABetaInfo is a feature tracker for WhatsApp. Granular privacy options for a profile photo, 'About' description, and 'Last seen' have begun to be distributed on the Meta-owned messaging app WhatsApp.

Those who have subscribed to beta builds can now access the WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.9.0.70. It's possible that doing so will allow the app to function. The new options appear to be enabled via a server-side switch, according to the update tracker, as some users may have to wait 24 hours to see the new settings.

To upgrade to the most recent beta version of the app, go to Settings, Account, and Privacy. A new option should be visible to the general public. My Contacts is the name of the folder. Users could only choose from Everyone, My Contacts, and Nobody in the previous version of the program.

According to the feature tracker, excluding a contact from seeing when you were last seen on the app conceals their last seen from you; however, this is not the case when excluding them from seeing when you're about or last seen. The same can be said for WhatsApp beta users on Android, who gained access to the same feature last month. On March 29, 2022, WhatsApp 2.22.8.9 beta for Android was released.

Granular privacy settings were enabled and working on the most recent version of WhatsApp beta for Android. The app unveiled a new Communities feature earlier this week to give administrators more control over groups. A Community can now have multiple groups, and administrators can send a message to all of them.

Severance's strange computers and claustrophobic hallways

Severance's strange computers and claustrophobic hallways The computers in Lumon's vast underground office, the megacorporation at the heart of Apple TV Plus' thriller Severance, are downright bizarre. They appear to be an old Mac at first glance, but the closer you look, the stranger they become. The CRT display functions as a touchscreen in some ways. The gorgeous blue keyboard is accompanied by a massive trackball. The goal, according to production designer Jeremy Hindle, was to create a device that doesn't make much sense, mirroring the purgatory-like world that exists only within Lumon's basement. "The idea was that anything you could see underground didn't exist anywhere up top," Hindle explains. "You'll never see that computer or keyboard again." This article contains minor Severance spoilers.  Severance is set in a world where a new procedure — the titular severance — allows workers to split their lives in half after undergoing mi...

The Sixers admit that the officiating in Game 4 against the Raptors bothered them.

TORONTO–The Philadelphia 76ers had a chance to sweep the Toronto Raptors and advance to Round 2 on Saturday, but they were unable to find a rhythm and were defeated 110-102 in Toronto. In Game 5, the series will return to Philadelphia. The Sixers lost their cool a little bit because they were upset with how the game was called. Philadelphia attempted 25 free throws to the Raptors' 35, and the Sixers were called for six more fouls. Coach Doc Rivers believed that his team would be unable to overcome the officiating in this game because they had allowed them to get inside their heads. Georges Niang fouled out after 22 minutes, Joel Embiid fouled out four times, and Tobias Harris fouled out five times. "Give them credit, they played hard and physical," Rivers said. "I thought we complained a little too much tonight" (Saturday). We just have to go play." Embiid was also called for a technical foul, as was Toronto's OG Anunoby, who got into a shoving match wi...
